Appraisals

Machinery International Corporation can provide you with professional appraisals of your industrial equipment. Whether for bank financing, insurance, potential acquisition or sale, or internal evaluations, we can provide you with accurate liquidation values or fair market values. Because Machinery International Corporation’s appraisers are in the business of buying and selling machines every day, their valuations are timely and accurate.

Machinery International Corporation’s appraisers are members of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA), a professional appraisal association which requires a minimum of seven years of market experience and continuing education to maintain certification. Our appraisers have reached the highest level of certification in the AMEA.

The AMEA is a subsidiary of the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA). The MDNA has a distinguished history as a leader in the metalworking industry for 55 years. This international, non-profit trade association was established in 1941 to assure buyers of the integrity and reliability of used machinery dealers who are members of the MDNA. Today the MDNA represents more than 300-member firms in thirteen nations.

The foundation of MDNA is its code of ethics, to which each member company must renew its pledge annually. Ethics complaints against MDNA members are strictly enforced and evaluated by the MDNA Ethics and Mediation Committee.

John Conroy, Chairman of Machinery International Corporation, has served on the MDNA Board of Directors since 1985, on its Executive Committee since 1995, and as MDNA President from 1993-1995. Stephen McMillan, President of Machinery International Corporation, has served for many years on the Board of Directors of both the MDNA and the Machinery Information Systems.
